First and foremost: Video Assist

Here you see the main configurations of my VTR gear. Custom built for one or two cameras but easily upgradeable up to 4 cameras. There is a "main cart" with the QTake-capable computer. It is attached to a BlackMagic Designs 12x12 Smarthub for video and audio distribution throughout the set. QTake allows for instant re-mapping of the SmartHub to get video signals wherever you need them to go, even OFF if need be. The "main cart" is attached to a 100ft. video tether that reaches out to the set for the Director's monitor(s). 
The Director's monitor(s) sits atop a Filmtools Monitor Mover. It is an extremely versatile little cart easily and quickly moved wherever you need it to go!
I carry a full array of video conversion tools and adapters. No matter what format or output type you have, I can convert it to a useable signal.

Run-n-gun package: Atomos and Filmtools

​Remember I said the Filmtools Monitor Mover was versatile? I can pare my kit down to accommodate "Run-n-Gun" style shooting where VTR needs to be light and nimble! I use Atomos portable Pro-Res recorders in conjunction with Flanders Scientific monitors mounted to the Filmtools Monitor Mover. Camera record triggered and instant playback. All battery powered too!

Streaming Services: Qtake Remote Stream, Videoconferencing

​Qtake VTR software has its own very high-quality streaming platform "baked in." It is built for up to 4 cameras and is extremely efficient at using data giving the stream very low latency to any PC or Mac or Android at very low latency anywhere in the world. We're talking half a second or less!
Local Stream is also available around the shooting location. See my "About" page for more information.
I can add video and audio to any videoconferencing apps like Zoom or Google Meet by using the tried-and-true Web Presenter. Simply send me an "invite" as a Participant in your meeting. Great for Village collaboration from anywhere!
​If you have a Director who's unable to come to the set I can set them up as a virtual avatar using an iPad on the set. Ask me how!
