About

I’m Kimbrough Davis, the operator behind Kimbro Video. I’m a QTake HD owner and operator with 25+ years as a Video Assist Technician. I live in the mountains near Chattanooga, Tennessee, and work all over the state, from Nashville to Knoxville. I grew up in Atlanta and have spent years on Georgia commercial sets, so I know the crews and the coordinators, with plenty of jobs in Birmingham and across the Southeast.

Most of my work is commercials. VTR is a specialist seat, and productions bring it in when the job calls for it. My job is to keep playback fast, comps clean and every monitor on set showing the right picture, so the director and the client can make decisions and production can stay on schedule.

Experience counts when you have to make your day.
